Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in IT from an accredited university

-UAE Professional Teaching License

-IELTS Score of 6.5 (Academic)

Experience:

-Experience of no less than 3 years in teaching

Job summary:

The ICT Teacher is responsible for the provision of high quality Information and Communications Technology education in line with the DMES vision, mission, and core values. The ICT Teacher is accountable for raising the levels of progress and attainment of students through the effective implementation of the California ICT Standards. The ICT Teacher fosters a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes inquiry, creativity, and innovation. The ICT Teacher provides age-appropriate and differentiated learning opportunities to cater for the individual needs and abilities of students, including students of determination and gifted and talented students. The ICT Teacher designs authentic and standards-based assessments that enable students to actively demonstrate their competencies and skills against curriculum standards and international benchmarks.  The ICT Teacher facilitates 21st-century learning to lay the foundations for the holistic development, academic excellence, and lifelong learning in each and every individual student.
