School Transport Terms & Conditions

Official Policy for Academic Year 2026-2027

1. General & Safety Compliance

  • Service operates per KHDA and RTA regulations.
  • All buses monitored by CCTV and GPS systems.
  • Students must always wear seat belts.
  • Remain seated while the bus is in motion.
  • No eating or drinking on the bus, except water.

2. Arrival & Punctuality

  • Be at pick-up point 5 minutes before scheduled time.
  • Buses will not wait beyond the scheduled time.
  • School is not liable if student misses bus due to lateness.
  • KG1 to Grade 4 must be met by an authorized adult.
  • If no adult is present, student returns to school.

3. Refund & Withdrawal Policy

  • Fees are optional as per KHDA regulations.
  • Refundable if notified 60 days before start date.
  • Withdrawal after service starts incurs deductions:

• Within 2 Weeks: 1 month fee deducted.

• 2 Weeks to 1 Month: 2 months fee deducted.

• After 1 Month: No refund / Full term retained.

*Formal written request to transportation@dmes.ae is mandatory for withdrawal.

4. Service Conditions & Rights

  • 30 days written notice required for cancellation.
  • Service subject to seat availability at time of request.
  • School may suspend service for non-payment of fees.
  • Parents are liable for any damage caused by their child.
  • Misconduct results in warnings or termination of service.

By registering, parents confirm they have read and understood all transport terms, withdrawal policies, and service availability.
