The DMES Model United Nations (DMES MUN) is an academic conference designed to empower young leaders to think critically, speak confidently, and engage meaningfully with the global issues shaping our world. Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations, where students step into the role of diplomats representing assigned nations. Delegates research their country’s policies, debate pressing international matters, and collaborate to draft resolutions that reflect diplomacy, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
At DMES MUN, participants do more than debate they learn to listen, to lead, and to represent perspectives beyond their own. Whether addressing climate action, human rights, global security, or economic development, students engage in thoughtful dialogue rooted in research and respect. As part of Dubai Modern Education School’s commitment to leadership, collaboration, and community engagement, DMES proudly hosts its first MUN conference, offering students a platform to grow, connect, and contribute meaningfully. DMES MUN is more than a conference it is an experience that builds confidence, strengthens critical thinking, and inspires the next generation of global changemakers.
